Hollywood filmmaker Randy Kent. Directed the movie&  first Kannada movie directed through video conference (Skype).

A romantic drama based on obsessive ex syndrome. It is claimed the movie is based on a real life incident that took place in Kolar some years ago.

Story  begins with college students discussing the case study of Arjun and Manasa with their lecturer. The next scene shifts to Arjun (Mateen Hussain), a MBA student who is also known as a Road King for leading a care-free life by selling modified bikes, and his friends consoling Dinesh who is depressed after a break up  with his lover. Ria (Nayana Shetty), a college student, requests Arjun to help her complete project work. Ria introduces Manasa (Rukshar Dhillon), a B.Com student who comes to Bengaluru from Hebri near Udupi, to Arjun. Arjun calls Manasa by nickname – Cousin – she calls him by nickname – Trouble. Both of them fall in love and decide to marry.

Meanwhile, Manasa asks Arjun not to depend on selling modified bikes for survival. She advises him to get a job and he obliges. Later he comes to know that Ria recommended the management to give a job for him. He quits the job and quarrels with Manasa. Later he joins a call centre. What happens to Manasa and Arjun is what the movie Road King is all about.

As far as performance of the actors is concerned, Mateen Hussain, who debuts as a hero in Sandalwood with this movie, is at his best. His performance is good in scenes, especially those where he suffers from obsessive ex syndrome. Rukshar Dhillon, a hapless girl torn between her lover and parents, is convincing. She looks cute and beautiful. Nayana Shetty provides good support. Leela Mohan has acted well. Songs are good and meaningful.

All in all, the movie is worth watching to know about city life
